Nutritional Information
Simple, whole-food dinner of broiled wild salmon served with bright lemon-dill asparagus and a quarter avocado for creamy fat. No processed oils — salmon’s natural fat and avocado provide richness while keeping this firmly keto.
This recipe is originally for 1 servings. How many are you cooking for today?
- 6 ozs wild salmon fillet
- 7 ozs asparagus spears, trimmed
- 1 lemon (zest + juice)
- 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/8 oz fresh dill, chopped
- 1 3/4 ozs avocado (about 1/4 medium), sliced
- To taste coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preheat broiler. Pat salmon dry and season with a little salt and pepper and lemon zest.
Trim asparagus and toss with crushed garlic and a squeeze of lemon juice. Arrange on a broiler-safe tray.
Place salmon on the tray beside asparagus. Broil about 6–8 minutes for salmon medium (time varies with thickness) until fish flakes.
Remove from oven. Top salmon and asparagus with chopped dill and serve with avocado slices alongside.
Finish with an extra squeeze of lemon if desired and serve immediately.
