Grilled Ribeye with Charred Garlic Broccoli
Nutritional Information
A straightforward, whole-food steak dinner: char-grilled ribeye paired with garlic-roasted broccoli. No added oils — the steak’s fat bastes itself during grilling.
This recipe is originally for 1 servings. How many are you cooking for today?
- 7 7/8 ozs ribeye steak (about 8 oz)
- 8 7/8 ozs broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 lemon wedge for finishing
- To taste coarse salt and cracked black pepper
Bring steak to room temperature and season simply with salt and pepper. Preheat grill or cast-iron skillet to high.
Grill steak 3–5 minutes per side for medium-rare (time varies by thickness). Let rest 5–7 minutes before slicing.
While steak rests, char broccoli on the grill or roast on a high sheet pan with smashed garlic (use a splash of water if needed) until edges blacken and stalks are tender, about 8–10 minutes.
Serve sliced ribeye with the charred broccoli and a squeeze of lemon over both.
