- 12 ozs fresh salmon fillets (about 2 x 6 oz)
- 1 each medium avocado, halved and diced
- 1 cup seeded cucumber, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 each small lemon, sliced for serving
- To taste sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Pat salmon dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Place salmon skin-side down and sear 4–5 minutes; flip and cook 2–4 minutes until opaque and flaky.
While salmon cooks, combine diced avocado, cucumber, lime juice, minced garlic, and cilantro. Season lightly with salt.
Plate salmon and top with a generous spoonful of avocado–cucumber relish. Serve with lemon slices.
